N1 has Gigabit Ethernet, RS232 serial interface, encoder input and four digital inputs/outputs.

Measured 3D/multispectral profiles can be processed on the integrated PC by user-specific applications. This reduces system complexity and saves costs. The application can directly control external hardware such as robots, gripper arms, actuators or sensors via the device interfaces.

Alternatively, the measured 3D/multispectral profiles can be sent via Gigabit Ethernet and processed on an external PC.

N1 was developed for measurement in conveyor belt systems. The measurement can be triggered by a light barrier or a proximity sensor, the measuring rate is synchronised with the conveyor belt movement by encoders.

Integrated data processing

N1 has an integrated PC with quad-core processor and 4GB RAM for customised applications. The application has full access to all scanner functions and interfaces via REST API.

The battery backup system allows safe shutdown of the integrated PC. This minimises the risk of data loss and consequential damage.
